Pink Hygiene, based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex, is to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to stopping women dying from breast cancer.
Pink Hygiene is going to donate a percentage of each customer’s service contract value to the charity each month, in addition to holding various fundraising events throughout the year, and is hoping to raise a substantial amount of money for the charity’s life-saving work.
A spokesperson from Pink Hygiene said “We’re really looking forward to raising lots of money for this incredible cause. Everyone knows someone affected by breast cancer so it’s crucial that we continue to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s vital research and help save lives.”
The need for Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s work has never been greater; breast cancer is still the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, affecting almost 50,000 women each year and killing 1,000 every month.
