It is with great delight that Pink Hygiene has now reached the fantastic milestone of donating £20,000 to Breast Cancer Now.
As one of its ‘Pinky Promises’ made to all customers, Pink Hygiene donates a percentage of every contract signed to Breast Cancer Now, a charity it has supported from its first day of trading.
Director, Adam Speck, is delighted with the achievement; “To be able to reach £20,000 in such a quick time and especially after what we have all gone through with the pandemic and the unsettled times we are living with the rising cost of living, it is an incredible achievement and one we are all so proud of at Pink. This could have only been achieved by our wonderful customers and their decision to choose Pink Hygiene as their washroom provider. In addition, we’d like to thank the amazing ‘Pink Team’ that continually delivers outstanding service to our customers and take part in various fund-raising activities”.
Pink Hygiene are well-known in the washroom industry for its first-class service, a reputation that has grown and strengthened since it entered the marketplace. With its unique barcode service, providing complete service transparency, Pink’s offering has always been unique and sets them apart from the competition.
Adam continues “In addition to the excellent service that is second nature to the company, we always wanted to offer more to our customers. As a charity close to my heart having lost a close member of family to Breast Cancer, the company decided from its outset that we were going to have a charity element to our offering and it was decided that from the first contract we signed, a percentage would be donated direct to Breast Cancer Now. Through the rapid and consistent growth of the company, it has enabled us to reach this fantastic figure”.
The need for BCN’s work has never been greater. Breast cancer is still the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, affecting 50,000 women every year and killing 1,000 every month. Breast Cancer can also occur in men as well as women. The money we raise and donate, via your support, goes direct to the charity and supports them in funding their research to find new ways to prevent, diagnose, treat, and help people live well with the disease as well as helping to discover ways to prevent the breast cancer (primary and secondary) in the future. Today, over 80 cutting-edge projects in place.
Pink Hygiene’s growth shows no sign of slowing down and the next target is to reach £25,000 as soon as possible.
